The Presidio – Start Here!

Explore, Play, Learn in a New Kind of National Park
Event detail

The San Francisco Main Library is the backdrop for a multi-dimensional exhibit that extends a welcome to San Franciscans of all ages to explore their national park in the city by showcasing the many ways that they can learn, play, create, hike, experience, and enjoy the Presidio. The exhibit includes the landscape paintings of artist Lynn Sondag, whose beautiful watercolor images capture the magic of wandering along the Presidio’s trails. Related programs invite the community to explore these themes in library or come to the Presidio to form their own special connections to the park.
