Learn about OpenStreetMap (, the free, open-source mapping platform that people anywhere can improve and edit. We'll hear about ways that OpenStreetMap is used and then sign up for an account and learn how to contribute to the map. In the second half of this workshop, we'll use OpenStreetMap to help a humanitarian effort. Presented by volunteers from Mapbox. Attendees should have basic computer comfort and an e-mail account. Laptops are provided, but feel free to bring your own. (If you do bring your own laptopn, please also bring a computer mouse). Space is limited, so arrive early to reserve your spot.
