San Francisco Wildlife Photography by Jouko van der Kruijssen
Event detail

Photography Exhibit
Main Library, Fifth Floor
December 8, 2018 – March 28, 2019

San Francisco photographer Jouko van der Kruijssen uncovers animals that have historically lived in the wild, and currently co-exist with the City's 884,000 human inhabitants. His images bring into view the valor and vulnerabilities of the animal world that have managed to endure despite human encroachment.

In this exhibit, locations range from the Marin Headlands to the streets of San Francisco. Coyotes, birds tiny and large, and creatures from the sea are highlighted.
