In partnership with the Potrero Hill Family Support Center (PHFSC), we show a family-friendly film and PHFSC provides a meal.

Called one of the best films of 2015 by SF Weekly, in East Side Sushi a street vendor lands a job at a sushi restaurant where she finds her only obstacle is gender bias. Set in East Oakland, this heartwarming film will make you cheer for all the workers who prepare our food! PG, 107 mins., 2015.

This is a Films & Videos program from SFPL. From feature films to youth-made videos, we’ve got something great to watch.
