A scintillating poetry reading from Cleveland Wall and special guest Jeanne Powell. Wall’s recently published poetry collection, Let X=X is an enchanting book blending humor, eloquence, whimsy, and a love of mathematical metaphor.

Cleveland Wall is a poet, editor, and teaching artist. Her work has appeared in various periodicals, including Philadelphia Stories, Full of Crow, Oakland Review, and the recently revived SF journal Monday. She is a founding member of the poetry improv group No River Twice and cohost of Tuesday Muse, a monthly performance series in Bethlehem, PA. She also performs with poetry/classical guitar combo The Starry Eyes. Between whiles she does mail art and makes little chapbooks.

Poet, essayist, and fiction author Jeanne Powell has published poetry in Essence Magazine, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal and Drumvoices Revue. Powell hosted the acclaimed San Francisco spoken word series Celebration of the Word for ten years and has published numerous poetry collections, including February Voices, Cadences, Tangerine Dance, Two Seasons, My Own Silence and Word Dancing.
