Our partners at TendWell Collective guide us in a gentle and accessible movement class.

 

This class is a remix of the traditional Pilates repertoire suitable for folks with low bone density, plus cameos from other movement modalities. The focus is on diving into that elusive core! We work to improve the strength, stability and endurance of the core and the postural muscles in the back and neck. Plus we work on flexibility and balance. This class is appropriate for all levels and ages. Please let the instructor know if you have any injuries, limitations, are pregnant, just birthed a baby, or have Osteoporosis or Osteopenia.

 

This class includes:

  • A grounding meditation to arrive
  • A brief Introduction from TendWell about the organization and their values
  • An accessible Mindful Movement practice which may include yoga, pilates or dance
  • Close with questions and community conversation (participation optional)
