Remembered Light is a collection of 25 art pieces using glass shards collected from bombed-out European cathedrals, synagogues, and chapels during World War II by the late Frederick McDonald. The pieces are currently on exhibition at the San Francisco War Memorial Veteran's Building.

In honor of Veteran's Day, Friends of the San Francisco Public Library will host a discussion and history lecture about these art pieces with the San Francisco State University History Department.
