Acompaña a integrantes del programa Salud y Bienestar Indígena del Instituto Familiar de la Raza en una charla cultural que celebra los alimentos tradicionales, la sanación comunitaria y las prácticas de bienestar indígena.

Esta conversación reúne a participantes del libro Nuestras Raíces Saludables —una colección de historias y recetas creada junto con el Departamento de Salud Pública de San Francisco y la comunidad indígena/latina— para promover una vida saludable a través del conocimiento cultural. Las y los panelistas compartirán reflexiones sobre recetas tradicionales prehispánicas, el significado de la comida y la identidad, y la fuerza de la salud comunitaria.

Se proporcionarán platos de muestra del libro de cocina hasta agotar existencias.

Join members of Instituto Familiar de la Raza’s Salud y Bienestar Indígena (Indígena Health & Wellness) program for a cultural discussion celebrating traditional foods, community healing, and Indigenous wellness practices.

This conversation features participants from the book Nuestras Raíces Saludables—a collection of stories and recipes created with the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the Indigenous/Latinx community to promote healthy living through cultural knowledge. Panelists will share reflections on traditional pre-Hispanic recipes, the meaning of food and identity, and the power of community health.

Sample dishes from the cookbook will be provided while supplies last.
