San Francisco is uniting behind cleaner, more reliable, and more affordable public power. San Franciscans can secure our clean energy future and put an end to PG&E’s skyrocketing rates by fully switching to public power through public ownership of the local electric grid.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is a City department that has provided safe and reliable electricity for 100 years. Today, through Hetch Hetchy Power it serves all City buildings and some of San Francisco’s most important assets, including our airport, general hospital, police stations, and Muni. The City also created CleanPowerSF to provide renewable power for about 380,000 homes and businesses.

Join Elisa Rodriguez Furey of the SF Public Utilities Commission to learn more. Bring your questions and be part of the conversation.
