Listen to the sounds of Persian, Kurdish, Azeri, Bakhtyari and Lori cultures.

Bridging the Borders is an intimate and powerful musical journey that dissolves geographical, cultural and linguistic boundaries through sound. This performance by a soulful singer, a vibrant percussionist and a versatile multi-instrumentalist on Oud and Shouranhiz brings together the deeply intertwined musical traditions of Persian, Kurdish, Azeri, Bakhtyari and Lori cultures.

Rooted in shared histories yet shaped by distinct local identities, these melodies travel across mountains, rivers, and ancient trade routes, revealing the cultural connections that unite diverse communities. The performance blends modal improvisation, folk songs, sacred echoes and rhythmic storytelling to create a sonic landscape where borders fade and human expression become the common language.

Bridging the Borders creates a space of listening, reflection, and connection where music becomes the bridge linking peoples, memories and traditions.
