Tom Conneely & Birds of Paradise are a twang-driven rock and roll outfit from San Francisco, California. Their music is driven by practiced song craft and guitar driven exploration steeped in the Bakersfield sound. Drawing on influences from Buck Owens to Arthur Russell, the Bird's blend of hypnotic twang and Beach Boys inspired harmony has sold out shows across the west coast, with notable performances at Offbeat Festival in Reno and Noise Pop in San Francisco. The Birds of Paradise released their record "New Kind Palace" in the spring of 2025 and are following up with the release of "Water Horse" in the spring of 2026.
