Jane has been researching her family history for over 40 years. She is a long-time member of the California Genealogical Society where she has served as President and chaired numerous other committees. Jane also volunteers weekly at the Oakland FamilySearch Center where she enjoys helping patrons make new discoveries about their families.

This program is part of the Genealogy and Family History Symposium 2026, a two-day conference presented by the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) and the California Genealogical Society (CGS), featuring speakers from SFPL, CGS, the Oakland FamilySearch Center, SFgenealogy and other organizations presenting on a wide range of topics.
