Celebrating 60 years of the Western Addition Branch Library, as we kick off Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Month (AANHPI) at SFPL, and honor a community historically, known for Japanese Culture and  African American Culture. Enjoy an afternoon of festivities for all ages. Activities include performances by the SF Poets Laureate, Genny Lim, Youth Poet Laureate Cohort Member, Mei Chung with featured poets Lewis Jordan and Yukiya Jerry Waki followed by an Open Mike; The Prospect Band – an Oakland youth band; pop-up crafts; and a meet and greet with community partners. Complete with free books, free treats, and free fun!
