The San Francisco Environment Department will present an engaging workshop designed to help you reduce exposure to harmful chemicals in your home. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make non-toxic cleaners, learn how to identify harmful ingredients in store-bought products and discover safer alternatives for a healthier and safer home. In addition, they will share tips on waste reduction to protect our environment through simple, everyday actions. This interactive session will guide attendees through Recology’s three-bin system—recycle, compost and landfill—to ensure proper sorting and reduce contamination.
