An interactive workshop about queer personal history, embedded in the wider history of the community, encouraging attendees to share their own experiences.
Tori Downes (she/they) is a senior, a musician, an activist, and a proud Trans Femme. Originally from London, she now calls the Castro home. With a passion for community and justice, Tori brings music and advocacy together to amplify Queer voices. Tori reflects: “History is thought of as static - but in practice it is active. We are making history Right Now. Our current Queer situation is built on the shoulders of those who came before, but at the same time we are building our own history, and building the future story of those who follow us.”
