Explore, edit, photograph, and fact-check as we celebrate Wikipedia’s birthday with a full day of hands-on activities for all ages. Learn how the world’s largest free encyclopedia is created—and help make it better.

Schedule of Events  
All day — Wikipedia-themed crafts, screenprinting (bring your own teeshirt or bag!), photobooth and games
10:30–11:15 am — Teaching Children to Edit Wikipedia (family workshop)
11:15 am–12:15 pm — A Day in the Life of a Wikipedian (intro & panel)
12:15–1:00 pm — Break
1:00–1:45 pm — Photography Workshop: adding images of the library and neighborhood to Wikipedia
1:45–2:30 pm — Wikipedia History Trivia & Birthday Cake
2:30–4:30 pm — Editathon: add references, improve articles, or create new ones

Perfect for families, students, and curious minds—no experience required. Come for one session or stay all day!
