Enjoy a variety of family activities in celebration of the Lunar New Year Lantern Festival at Richmond Branch, presented by the Chinese Cultural Learning Center: 

Performances include a traditional Taiwanese Hakka dance, Diabolo performance (a game in which a two-headed top is thrown up and caught with a string stretched between two sticks), shadow puppetry, Guzheng performance (a traditional Chinese plucked stringed instrument), a kung fu performance, a traditional dance, a poetry reading performance, and a singing performance. 

Outdoor booths at the 10th Avenue playground directly behind Richmond Branch will include a hakka rice cake station, calligraphy demonstration, bookmark-making, shadow puppetry, and a visit from the God of Wealth.
