Watch San Francisco Rising, a documentary film that follows a year in the life of San Francisco in 2024 as it attempts to find its footing after an era of turmoil and tough headlines. Told through the voices of everyday residents; a homeless advocate, a Muni driver, artists, event-goers, and the people who quietly honor the unclaimed, the film pieces together a living mosaic of hope, grit and community. A cinematic montage of San Franciscans: weird, messy, beautiful and resilient featuring 30+ intimate, honest stories.

Participate in a Q&A after the film with the director, Adam Leao, and other film participants who will explain how they came to be part of this independent documentary filmed guerrilla-style using only natural light, no tripods and no studios.

Doors at 3 p.m.; film to start at 3:15 p.m.

NR, 91 mins., 2026. Closed captions (CC) in English.
