Big Oil companies have long known that plastic recycling is not a viable solution for the plastic waste crisis, but they have misled the public through deceptive marketing and education campaigns. By promoting plastic recycling as a solution, these companies have protected and expanded plastic markets, contributing to the plastic waste crisis we are in today. Attendees will learn more about Big Oil’s tactics and efforts to hold these corporations accountable.
