This fall, SFPL will proudly announce its 20th One City One Book selection, continuing a beloved tradition of community-wide reading and discussion. In anticipation of this milestone, SFPL invites readers to revisit the previous 19 selections and take on the challenge to read your Favorites or Read Them All.
To celebrate past selections, we will host book clubs dedicated to each title, offering engaging discussions and a chance to reflect on the stories that have brought us together over the past 19 years. Visit any SFPL location to pick up a Read Them All bookmark to track your progress as you embark on this literary journey.
Celebrate two decades of shared reading by reading all nineteen previous selections and trading your completed bookmark in for a copy of our 20th One City One Book selection* in September 2025.
