新书线上讨论会: 李慎之与美国所

         李慎之,曾任中国社会科学院副院长、中华美国学会会长。本书是李慎之去世之后, 由美国所的同事自发组织撰写的纪念文集, 作者包括美国所第二任所长资中筠, 第三任所长王緝思, 著名学者茅于轼、任东来等, 以及众多由李慎之招入所内, 受其教诲与精神感召的学者和"年轻人们"。文集从不同侧面回顾了1980年代,在李慎之领导下,美国研究所、《美国研究》、中华美国学会等开创性机构和刊物的筹备、创办经过, 丰满地呈现出李慎之作为学者与独立个体的品行修养, 以及其先天下之忧而忧,后天下之乐而乐,为人类命运虽九死犹未悔的真正知识分子情怀。

        与邓方、 王奔、温洋以及张毅线上交流,追忆与李慎之所长的共事之情以及他对当代人的深刻影响。 

            邓方:曾任美国所社会研究室副主任,现任美国马萨诸塞州Bridgewater State University 社会学系教授。

            温洋:曾任美国所研究人员,Georgeton 大学、纽约大学客座教授,现在美国某咨询公司从事研究工作。

            张毅: 1981年在中国社会科学院美国研究所工作,1988 年担任美国所所长助理、中华美国学会副秘书长。现为美国一律师事务所合伙人。

            王奔: 曾任美国所经济室研究人员。美国 Northeastern University 经济学博士。 香港 Cambridge Business Group 名誉董事,现已退休。
