You don’t need to lament finishing a good book when there is a great film adaptation to look forward to. Join us for a monthly two-part series in which we supplement the traditional book club with a movie night. Book club on Sunday, movie night the following Tuesday.

This month, we discuss Joan Didion's Play it as it Lays, followed by the 1972 film adaptation directed by Frank Perry.

Attending Programs

All programs are drop-in (no registration necessary) unless otherwise noted. All SFPL locations are wheelchair accessible. For accommodations (such as ASL), call (415) 557-4557 or contact accessibility@sfpl.org. Requesting at least 3 business days in advance will help ensure availability.
