Muni rides are free for youth 18 years and younger. Adults traveling with youth for this special program will also get to ride for free between the libraries.

These events are in partnership with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) in hopes of building community with young riders and their families to expand their knowledge of how the public transportation system works and the people who make the City move. Help us cultivate a culture of care and healthy respect for our city, the public spaces that many of our peers and community members depend on and ground us with a knowledge that the people who work in transportation want to get us to their destinations safely and efficiently. Gaining intimate knowledge of these spaces and people, these learning days hope to foster equity in young ones' ability to access public transportation, ensure safety of all riders, employees, and people within the city, and introduce young people to the adults and infrastructure that help move culture forward.

Build connections with others in our local programs.
