Are you a budding writer interested in developing engaging and unique children’s stories that feature diverse characters? Want to learn how to get your start as a self-publisher? If this sounds like you then get ready for an enriching afternoon. This enlightening workshop will help give you the tools and insights to confidently embark on a new and exciting writing and self-publishing journey.

Krystaelynne Sanders Diggs is a passionate children's book author dedicated to empowering young minds through literature. With a background in child advocacy and a deep commitment to creating safer and more informed communities, Krystaelynne has made it her mission to address essential topics that are often overlooked in children's literature. Her goal is to equip children and their families with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate a complex world safely and confidently.

Diggs has authored numerous children's books. A few of her works include: "My Sweet Boy", "Where Hands Go", "The ABC's of Consent". Her carefully crafted stories combine engaging narratives with vibrant illustrations to make important conversations accessible and engaging for young readers.

More Than a Month recognizes important events in Black history, honors community and national leaders and fosters steps towards collective change. Programming features authors, poets and craft classes.
