Make your own storybook inspired by Go Forth and Tell (2025 Ezra Jack Keats and Coretta Scott King Award winner) and meet other first and second graders learning to read while discovering new books you might like. A selection of free books for children learning to read and resources for parents will also be available to take home. 

For ages 6–8.

Programs spotlighting women's history, rights and current issues.

HERstory is SFPL's celebration of Women's History Month, spotlighting authors, thinkers, visionaries and artists during the month of March. Program offerings are for all ages.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.
