Make a bookmark, wall hanging or patch with local textile artist Cristina Edwards while learning about weaving throughout the world. Learn the embodied practice of creating fabric by hand. Participants will receive a small loom and supplies to take home and continue weaving at home. Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-5666 (starting June 8).
Cristina Edwards is a multiracial Filipina, multidisciplinary artist based in Oakland, CA. Her community art workshops foster community connection and environmental awareness through accessible arts programming. She hosts arts workshops all over the Bay Area.
