In this workshop, we will create watercolor Christmas cards featuring a beautiful Filipino Christmas lantern called a parol.

This class is perfect for both beginner and intermediate learners who want to build confidence with watercolor or who simply love working with bold, joyful colors. Vica will walk you through approachable watercolor techniques, including learning how to blend colors, and using stencils to create unique parol patterns.

By the end of the class, you'll walk away with a beautiful finished Christmas card! This workshop is designed to give you the skills and confidence to continue exploring watercolor in your own creative projects.

Space is limited to 12 attendees. Reservations required (starting November 1). 

Vica Lew is a Filipina illustrator and designer based in San Francisco who loves creating things for kids and kids at heart. She has experience working with clients like Hasbro and Nick Jr., and has a diverse portfolio spanning activity books, toy design, surface pattern design, and 2D illustrations for children's animation and games.
