Sound Advice was created to spark curiosity, compassion, and understanding around the often misunderstood world of hearing loss. Through intimate interviews and photographs, this exhibit shares the stories of 15 individuals–and the owner of a deaf dog–ages 6 to 96 and includes authors Claudia Marseille and Rachel Zemach.
Their stories challenge assumptions and reveal humor, resilience, and the deeply human experience of navigating the hearing world.
Sound Advice creator, Nancy Rubin, has long been passionate about photography and the power of personal stories.
