Do you love the idea of recycling clothing to make new fabulous fashions? Re-use old clothes that have a hole, are stretched out or shrunken to create new one-of-a-kind works of wearable art! For this class, bring a sweater, cut it up and sew it back into a whole new chic sweater top. This class requires basic sewing skills. Please bring your own sewing supplies. The library will provide four sewing machines for participants to take turns using. Bring your own sewing machine if you wish. Registration is required by email at ddrummond@sfpl.org or sign up on the 4th floor at the Business Science and Technology Center reference desk at the Main Library.

This is a Green Stacks event sponsored by the San Francisco Department of the Environment.
