Primitive No More:

Africa Through African Eyes
Event detail

A  photographic journey across Africa through the lenses of photographers throughout the continent, who are looking to reframe Africa in a new light. The exhibition looks to clear up the misperceptions some hold of Africa as intellectually, technologically and economically backward; trying to get rid of the notion that Africa is still a continent in the throes of the dark ages and not a place filled with vibrant people, brilliant minds and vistas, struggles and triumphs and a diversity of life seen in very few other places.

These cultural events are free and open to the public.
