Come take a quick field trip to find the ancient techniques of weaving and dyeing still practiced today in countryside dye houses and backyards around the world. You will transform a piece of plain white cotton cloth into a unique resist-dyed art work and wall hanging to take home, while weaving together history, science, math, and folk art.

Be part of the happening. Exhibitions, author talks, arts and crafts and more as San Francisco Public Library celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love. See the SFPL Summer of Love Program Guide (PDF)
