Alcatraz: Day into Night

Photographs by Ethel Jimenez
Event detail

During the daytime, Alcatraz Island is striking. At night, even more so. As you walk around the ruins on a moonlit night, the island takes on an eerie quality. The wind and damp, cool night air only add to the mood as the night has a transformative quality that gives Alcatraz a certain mystery and allure. The island could be worlds away from the lights of San Francisco.
