Alice's Ordinary People features Alice Tregay, an ordinary Chicago woman affecting extraordinary change for human rights. She marched alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1966 and fought Chicago school segregation throughout her career. She later joined Reverend Jesse Jackson and Operation Breadbasket to fight against discriminatory hiring practices of large corporations.
