Sprightly in the Hormel Center is a two-hour event where young adults ages 18-26 have space and time in the center to craft and connect. Join us every Sunday from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm (excluding holidays) to participate in our queer craft. This month we are focusing on handcrafts that involve yarn including: sewing, knitting and crocheting. Learn to sew on a button, crochet a bow, and knit your own washcloth, this week we will be learning how to sew on a button. Snacks provided.

Main, LGBTQIA Center, 12:30–2:30 p.m.

Gather, share knowledge and celebrate our unique identities at the queerest library ever. Visit the James C. Hormel LGBTQIA Center, the gateway to the Library’s broader collections documenting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and allies’ history and culture, with a special emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area.

This is a Making & Creative Arts program from SFPL. Create with us- from clothes to robots to so much more.
