Día de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead), is a Mexican holiday that is celebrated all over the world. Special altars, or ofrendas, often have pictures, sugar skulls, paper flowers, marigolds, food, beverages and other mementos to celebrate loved ones who have passed.

Children and families are invited to learn more about this celebration, to create artwork to take home, and to participate in creating an ofrenda at the library.  All ages are welcome!

This is a Making & Creative Arts program from SFPL. Create with us- from clothes to robots to so much more. All materials provided, unless noted.
