展覽: Radically Gay – The Life of Harry Hay

圖書館慶祝Harry Hay的百年誕辰,本展覽展示從圖書館歷史中心Harry Hay個人珍藏所收集的原稿,錦囊,視頻和私人物品,以奠定他在現代美國同性戀權利運動中為同性戀者和女同性戀者爭取權利的付出和貢獻。展覽編述Hay早年在勞資行動及參與共產黨的生活記載, 以致創辦Mattachine Society和共同創辦Radical Faeries。由舊金山市立圖書館James C. Hormel 同性戀中心主辦。

Which Side Are You On? Harry Hay and Labor Organizing, Panel discussion with San Francisco historian Chris Carlsson, author and longtime activist Bettina Aptheker and Gabriel Haaland, in a conversation  moderated by Joey Cain.

San Francisco Bookmobiles Have Pride - Cheer on San Francisco Public Library: Queerest. Library. Ever.,  and the Green Bookmobile in the San Francisco Pride Parade.
June 24, parade starts at 10:30 a.m., along Market Street , from Beale to Eighth Streets.


Out at the Library: This panel exhibit celebrates the founding of the Library’s James C. Hormel Gay & Lesbian Center by highlighting its collection and offering a rare look into what an archive is and how it ensures the legacy of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities.
