Take online self-guided tests and learn through interactive tutorials during this in-person proctored session using Northstar Digital Literacy which has assessments on subjects like Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, basic computer & internet skills, career search skills and more!

Proctored participants who want to earn a certificate that can be listed on a resume and shared with employers must bring photo identification.

Northstar Digital Literacy is a group of standards-based interactive assessment modules that measure adult digital literacy skills at a basic level. You can pre-register at their website and start practicing at any time, a personal email address is required to register. Funding for Northstar Digital Literacy is provided by CAreer Pathways, a program of the California State Library.

This program is conducted on a laptop with headphones that we provide, but you are welcome to bring and use your own personal wired headphones.
