2024 marks the 100th anniversary of San Francisco’s Legion of Honor. In honor of this celebration, the Legion of Honor is partnering with the library for a series of free docent talks about the Museum's remarkable collections. This talk titled: Innovation and Invention : A Behind the Scenes Look at How Art Was Made Through the Ages, will be led by Christina Crosby.

Docent Christina Crosby

Christina Crosby graduated in Art History from Pomona College.  After attending Loyola Law School and a 30 year legal career focused on helping public agencies and non-profit organizations raise money for capital projects through the issuance of bonds, she returned to her first love of Art History by entering the Docent program at the Fine Arts Museums in 2011.

In addition to giving lectures throughout the Bay Area, Christina shares her love of art with museum visitors at both the de Young and Legion of Honor.  She also loves to travel, with museums always a featured part of the itinerary.
