Join Gentle Sleep CoachⓇ and researcher Macall Gordon, MA for a conversation about her new book, Why Won't You Sleep?!: A Game-Changing Approach for Exhausted Parents of Nonstop, Super Alert, Big Feeling Kids - a science-backed resource specifically for parents of intense, sensitive kids co-authored with The Sleep LadyⓇ Kim West, MSW.
In Why Won’t You Sleep?!, the authors discuss how temperament truly affects a child’s sleep pattern and offer tips for crafting your child’s bedtime routine, a step-by-step plan for getting your child to sleep, and self-care tips for tired parents. With some much-needed encouragement and a healthy dose of humor, Why Won't You Sleep?! will help you and your little ones finally get a good night’s sleep.
Macall will be talking about topics from the book like:
- How temperament directly affects sleep (and parenting)
- Reasons why popular sleep training options don’t work for fussy, alert kids
- Strategies that target the unique needs of more alert/intense children (and that don’t involve leaving them to cry)
- A few key takeaways that parents could use immediately
She will also take sleep questions from the audience. Books will be available for sale.
