6:30 - 7:30
In this one-hour workshop, we’ll explore the challenges families face as loved ones age: transitions like relocations, loss of independence, illness, and end-of-life planning. We will review housing options, medical care advocacy, estate and financial planning, social support, hospice and palliative care, and the role of End-of-Life Doulas. Attendees will hear about the service providers in each area, where to get guidance, and a deeper understanding of how to navigate transitions with a supportive and compassionate team.
This program is presented by two professionals dedicated to supporting families through life’s most challenging transitions.
* Dori L. Sappo - Hospice RN, BSN, End of Life Care
* Ian Sherbin - Elder Family Coach
