As the days get shorter, look towards the advancing darkness for excitement. Guiding us are two dark wave bands, Yama Uba and Godgifu, who take the stage in the Bay Beats Goth show on November 22 at 1:00 pm, in the Main Library’s Koret auditorium. Visual projections by tsar koshka will envelop the Koret.

Based in Oakland, Yama Uba delivers highly melodic dark post-punk, while Godgifu is a dark electronic/gothic duo from San Francisco.

Whether you are already Goth and seek the guilty pleasure of a daytime show, or if you’ve always wondered what fun awaits you in the music of shadows, the Bay Beats Goth show will leave you transfixed.
