Experience a fun, interactive introduction to Hangeul, Korea’s unique and easy alphabet!

In this 90-minute workshop, you will explore Hangeul’s history and discover how its letters were designed. You’ll learn the basics of Korean consonants and vowels, practice reading simple syllables, and write your own name in Korean.

To wrap up, participants will create a personalized bookmark with their name in Hangeul, decorated with Korean-themed stickers.

No prior knowledge is needed—this class is perfect for beginners. Come learn, create, and take home your own piece of Korean writing!

Space limited. Reservations required: sign up at the Reference Desk or call 415-355-572 (starting August 15).
