Join us and chess club for a chess grandmaster visit and learn to play chess or watch a grandmaster exhibition. Our visiting grandmaster has 20 years of chess experience and a chess rating above 2400.
Bright Knights Chess Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 in the Excelsior District of San Francisco, California with the mission to “bring the community together through the game of chess”. The organization has hosted the Excelsior Youth Chess Club at the San Francisco Public Library Excelsior Branch since May 2003. Bright Knights Chess Club hosts free chess programs, community events and tournaments in the San Francisco Bay Area.
