Bring an appetite and containers to take home any food and drink you make.  Spice Lab is a creative space to be immersed in the culinary arts and food history, to practice flavor-building techniques while producing a menu, enjoying culture, and sharing thoughts on the local SF food scene with other members of this community.

Chef Aaron is a typical local product raised on after-school piroshkis who prepares Russian dishes from post-Soviet states professionally, writing menus and refining production processes for consulting clients. Teaching classic techniques to food businesses and in workshops open to the public at Spice Lab workshops, he connects global food history with our distinct food culture here and now in a collaborative, hands-on way that is fun, healthy, and tasty.
