Learn the basics of copyright and how it applies to your small business. This practical workshop explains what copyright protects—and what it doesn't—and provides an introduction to common copyright issues entrepreneurs may encounter. Participants will learn how to protect original creative works, avoid common pitfalls when using third-party content, and navigate practical copyright considerations involving employees, independent contractors and AI-assisted content. Whether you're creating websites, photographs, videos, marketing materials or other original content, this session will provide practical, plain-language guidance you can apply to your business.
