Join us for a conversation on preserving community culture as Christina Moretta (Photo Curator and Manager of the San Francisco History Center), Freya Channing (archivist for the San Francisco Punk Archive), and Penelope Houston (singer/songwriter for the legendary punk band The Avengers) discuss how punk materials enter the archive, how their stories are understood through provenance, and how archivists transform fliers, photographs, and personal collections into accessible historical resources. Held in connection with Alle gegen Alles Punk@50 at the Goethe-Institut this program features a slideshow of rare materials from the collection, a panel discussion, and an audience Q&A session.
