Honor the extraordinary legacy of WWII Nisei heroes with a special afternoon of film, music, community, and remembrance.

Be among the first to experience THE 100TH: Seeds of Aloha, a feature-length documentary honoring Hawaiʻi’s legendary 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team.

As a test screening, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the film while it is still being refined and share their reactions and feedback with the filmmakers. Audience feedback is an important part of the filmmaking process as the production team prepares the film for its final release and film festival presentations.

The program will include a special acoustic performance by Harold Payne, Music Director for THE 100TH: Seeds of Aloha, along with the film screening and an audience Q&A with Producer/Director Steve Sue.

NR, 110 mins., 2026. Closed captions (CC) not provided.

The Western Addition Branch will also screen this film on Thursday, November 12, 2026, noon to 2 PM.
