Acclaimed theater director Kayla Minton Kaufman and talented local actors perform a dramatic reading of Stop Calling Me Deborah, a new play by Eden Rousso. In Stop Calling Me Deborah two childhood best friends reunite at the Urth Caffe to catch up over pesto sandwiches. But at this bougie brunch, not all is as it seems.

Fresh Play is a bimonthly series that presents dramatic readings of original works. If you love live theater, you won’t want to miss SFPL’s Fresh Sunday Play Reading Series.

Eden Rousso is a third generation Bay Area native (Go Giants!) and is thrilled to return to the San Francisco theater scene virtually from her home in Los Angeles. She received her double degree in Screenwriting and Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University and now works in production on Disney Channel's The Owl House. Besides all things film, TV and theater related, Eden enjoys hiking around LA, treasure hunting on Craigslist and playing ukulele in a very un-quirky way.
