The Youth Engaged in Library Leadership's (YELL) STEM & Nature cohort used STEM to explore different aspects of the urban nature spaces in their community and connected them to topics like sustainability, community gardens and nature walks. They are passionate about immersing themselves in nature and love exploring San Francisco. Living in such a fast-paced urban city, oftentimes residents don't take enough time to appreciate and take care of nature spaces. This activity was created to help build connections to this beautiful world.
