Create a wearable plushie accessory by using hand sewing, embroidery and fabric marker techniques. Whether it's an animal, an alien or abstract design—attach the finished product to a pin, keychain or lanyard for extra fluffy flair. For ages 10–18.

Register for T(w)een Winter Read and visit a participating library location (Anza, Bayview, Bernal Heights, Eureka Valley, Excelsior, Glen Park, Golden Gate Valley, Ingleside, Main, Marina, Merced, Mission, Noe Valley, North Beach, Ocean View, Ortega, Park, Parkside, Portola, Richmond, Sunset, The Mix, Visitacion Valley and West Portal) for a MakeArt kit with all necessary tools, materials and instructions. Supplies are limited. This program is inspired by artworks featured in current fashion exhibition, Mode Brut, at The Museum of Craft and Design.
